Sometimes we don't realize it, but humans are always telling stories. Sometimes these stories are fables from long ago. Often, they are simple events we relate to our friends. This week, we talked about storytelling. To do this, we practiced how to use simple past verbs vs. past continuous verbs. We also talked a little about how to use stative verbs. If you are not sure about what stative verbs are, CLICK HERE for a list and a description to help you.
For your homework this week, choose one of the videos below. Each video is a Canadian story, but these stories don't have many words. Please write at least 100 words to tell one of the stories. You may read your classmates' work, but don't copy them! Instead, try to improve upon what they did. Also, don't forget to do your WORKBOOK: pages 48 and 49C.

These mascots's name is miga, quatchi and sumi.
I search information of mascots.
Miga is sea bear.
Miga's hobbies are surfing, snowboarding, anything fun and exciting.
Miga's favorite food is wild salmon.
quatchi is sasquatch.
His hobbies are hockey, photography, trave.
He want to become a world-famous goalie.
The last mascot name is Sumi.
Sumi is an animal spirit who lives in the mountains of British Columbia.
Sumi's hobbies are Alpine skiing, flying over the coast mountains.
From now on, I tell the this story.
At first, miga meets quatchi.
they enjoy the winter sports.
After miga meets quatchi, sumi meets them.

ReplyDeleteTwo neighbors that they're twins lived at OLLEH village. They had same appearance house, chair, furniture and newspaper etc., except a roof color of house.
ReplyDeleteOne day morning, they were peacefully reading same newspapers. At that time, suddenly, a flower bloomed on the ground. They went near it and then it held their mind. And, they made effort that a flower made their's possession but, it's not easy. So, they ponder about clever scheme. However, they didn't think about clever scheme. So, they started to divide their's territory.
DO YOU THINK HOW MANY DAYS CONTINUED THEIR FIGHT? They fighted for one month and even killed themselves and their's family too.
After for a long fight time, a coffins made for them, it was same appearance and even color. Also, a cross carved on a each coffins and a flower put in a each coffins.
This ritual meaned that fight is bad especially same blood relationship. This story is giving a lesson to people that we have to love our neighbor.

There were two neighbours lived at each side.They had the same houses,the same chairs.Their relationship looked very good.This was a sunny morning,there was a flower bloomed from the ground when they were reading the same newspapers.They noticed the flower at the same time.They approached the flower.They looked the flower very seriously.After One man smelled the flower,he was smiled.Another man aslo smelled the flower,he aslo smiled.They both liked the flower very much.So they began to contest the flower.They both wanted to own this flower.They fighted in order to own the flower.They fighted very sharpiy for a long time.Finally,they both didn't own the flower.
This stoey telled us we must love our neighbour and friendly.Fight can damage our relationship.It's a bad thing.

I will talk about "The big snit"
A couple played Scrabble. The husband was worrying about his seven” E”, so his wife was so angry that decide to do some housework. The husband was watching the program which he likes. For awhile the husband was sleeping .He can not get the notice about the nuclear war in the TV. When the husband waked up he glanced at his wife’s letters. But his wife was catching him at it and an argument ensued. At this time the nuclear war broke up.
This video scene is general and common. But the plot is marvelous. Everyone has many worried things but when doomsday is coming these things are not important for us .So it’s not necessary to worry about trifles
I will tell you "The Big Snit" story.
ReplyDeleteSomeday a village, a couple had 'Scrabble Game'. But husband hard to game. And he was a nerve-racking noise on the fret. his wife said "during the clean up a house. Think of the word." she was going out the room. He thought over the word. But not well. He turn on the TV. Soon he was sleeping. his cat was cutting cable. this sound he opened his eyes. He again thought word. He stole glanced his wife word. Right at that moment, she came back room. He was astonished. She ask "Did you look at my word?" he said "No!". But she doubted him. she said "You do!" he answer "I did not!" they was fight. She was cried. He was convinced of he's mistake. He was singing for his wife. He singing moved her deeply. They was reconciled.
And after that, they lived happliy for a long time.

but her husband was not good at making letters.
wife give time for her husband.
Then wife cleaned the house.
her husband turned on the TV.
Many students were cutting tree on TV.
and advertisement warms nuclear explosion.
Husband opened the windows.
People were taking refuge.
husband closed the wideows and sat the sofa.
He concerned his wife's word.
So cheated his wife's word.
Therefore, wife asked about "cheating word".
But husband denied the cheating, very angry.
and he criticized his wife's shaking eyes.
She was very sad. so go out living room with crying.
After she went out living room, her husband reflected his mistake.
After a while, husband effected a reconciliation with his wife.
And Out of thier house was at peace.

there was a pair of middle-aged couples in a house.They were playing a spelling card game.
when her husband was worriing about the game ,she was doing the housework.but he turn on the TV to watch shows and followed the screen to find a small saw to cut with a saw
furniture.but at while he sleeped very quickly.
so he cont't get the notice about the nuclear war in the TV. When he waked up he glanced at his wife’s letters. But his wife was catching him at it and an argument ensued. At this time the nuclear war broke up.They quarrelded very terrible. he was picking up the old photo and feel guiltt.so he o console his wife.they
want to open the door to see why the matter is outside the noise but the word had changed.

Quatchi was knew there is ice hockey in olympic entries. So Quatchi decided participation in Olympic game. And he left for vencouver. When Quatchi was going to Vencouver, he met Miga. That time, Miga knew there is snowboard in Olympic enteries. Miga wanted to participate in Olympic game. So they left togather. They was meeting Sumi. Sumi was liking Alpine skiing. ReplyDeleteA couple of neighborhoods appear in this story. They were read the newspaper in front of their garden.
Suddenly, they heard a strang sound. It was a sonud that a flower bloomed. They smelt the flower and they felt happy.
But they insist that the flower is ther each other. The flower was trampled to death while they were fighting. And they were dead, too.

ReplyDeleteA beutiful flower blossomed between the neibours. The two neibours were very happy becuase of it. When they saw it, the flower made them dance for joy. Then they thought that they kept it to oneself. At firtst, they argued that it was mine, but this insistment were not accepted each other. So they made a fence to prove that it was mine. But this assertion was ambiguous to make a decision that to whom did it belong. The two neibours contetion was nip and tuck, so they started fighting. They were getting babarous. As a result, they killed each other's families and the flower was trampled to death when they were fighting. they also died continuting to fight. At last the flower reblossomed and the number became two. this story may tell us that getting along well with neigbours and not being greedy.

While one day, a chrysanthemum grew up exactly on the boundaries of their houses. The chrysanthemum was so beautiful that both of them wanted to own it. Firstly they announced and proved why the flower belongs to them by debating, and then it turned to be quarrels and fighting. Finally they destroyed other’s house and killed each other. They were buried and there was a chrysanthemum put on each coffin. Well, both of them got the flower but lost all other thing. This is a ironic story.

Woman waited for man’s turn.
But man did not solve the puzzle.
So woman went out of the room until man had solved the puzzle.
Man thought the answer of the puzzle when woman was cleaning the house.
But that is too difficult to man.
So man started to watch TV.
Then he fell into a deep sleep.
At that time, emergency nuclear warning was broadcast over the TV.
But they did not become aware of that warning. Man woke up and saw woman’s word when Woman finished cleaning the house.
Woman returned to the room, and saw man’s behavior.
Woman got into a passion.
But he made his complaint against her.
So they fought like cats and dogs.
Later, man regretted quarrel and made an apology.
Then man had effected a reconciliation with his wife.

ReplyDeleteThe story is funny. Two men are happy neighbors. However, beautiful and fragrant a flower appear between the men. They hold each the flower since then. Time passes, and their flower scramble gets worse more. They make the walls and even hitting each others. Finally, they die.
Teachings of this video is "we love with mutual neighborhood, and let's live."
